Frederick J Gravetter is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at The College at Brockport, State University of New York College. While teaching at Brockport, he specialized in statistics, research design, and cognitive psychology. Dr. Gravetter received his Bachelor's degree in mathematics from M.I.T. and his Ph.D. in psychology from Duke University. In addition to publishing several research articles, Dr. Gravetter is co-author of the best-selling STATISTICS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, 9th Edition, ESSENTIALS OF STATISTICS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, 8th Edition, and (with Lori-Ann B. Forzano) RESEARCH METHODS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, 5th Edition.
Larry B. Wallnau is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the State University of New York College at Brockport. The recipient of grants and awards in both research and teaching, Dr. Wallnau has published numerous research articles primarily on the effect of psychotropic drugs. With Frederick J Gravetter, he has co-authored previous editions of STATISTICS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, now in its tenth edition, and ESSENTIALS OF STATISTICS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, now in its eighth edition.

THERE IS NO ACCESS MIND TAP!! I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THE BOOK THINKING THAT IT HAD THE MINDTAP ACCESS CODE! I COULD HAVE RENTED THIS BOOK FOR CHEAP! YOU SHOULDN'T ADVERTISE IN PARENTHESIS THAT THERE IS MINDTAP! I NEED THAT FOR MY GRADE! NOW I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO GET IT WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS! WHO SELLS THIS AND PUTS MINDTAP IN (_)? THATS NOT OKAY! AT ALL!

Seriously Worth it.

Not here to necessarily convince y'all, but here to share my personal experience:
When I ordered the book I expected nothing special. It arrived promptly and well packaged which should be a given. The book appeared new with it's glossy cover, sharp edges, no wrinkled pages or any visible damage; aside from the sticker on its spine reminding me that it in fact "Used". As a student at University, I ordered the textbook in a major time crunch and it definitely came through. I also had a friend who spent more than I did getting a loose leaf version. I would joke around with her, rubbing in the fact that my book is better in all regards.
Highly recommend this source y'all. :D Don't mean to sound dry and boring, just stating everything as it is.

Content is the same as US edition; end-of-chapter problems ordered differently

This international edition is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the vastly overpriced US version. Best I can tell, the content is exactly the same, except for three minor differences between the two versions:
1) the international is black and white instead of color;
2) the international edition is offered in paperback only; and
3) most importantly, the ordering of the end-of-chapter questions are different, so if your professors requires you to complete these from the book, this could be difficult for you.
Let's face it, you're probably not buying this unless your class requires you to. I want to reassure the worried that, thus far, I have found that this book offers a very gentle and accessible introduction to statistics. So, depending on your background, you'll be happy your professor selected this instead of a more dense and technical textbook. If you're already familiar with statistics, though, you will find this book to be too simplistic.
